Tic Tac Toe
This simple game is super fun to make and play with family and friends! Explore nature and hunt for flat stones, then design your very own game pieces.
This game can be played again and again and is a great way to pass a sunny afternoon outside!
What You Will Need…
- A basket or bag to carry your rocks in (optional)
- 10 Stones (the flatter the better)
- 4 large sticks (to make the game board)
- Paint, chalk, or markers

1. Go outside and find 10 stones that fit in the palm of your hand. Be on the lookout for flat stones. Have an adult help you if things get too heavy.
Fairy Tip: Use a basket or bag to carry them.
2.
The stones will be your X and O pieces for the game. Use whatever you’d like (markers, paint, chalk) to decorate the stones so that half of the stones are X and the other half are O. If you used paint, let your stones dry before trying to play.
3.
Set up your sticks to make a 3 x 3 game board.
